As a former IRS appeals officer in the Los Angeles area, I have 25 years of experience in tax law administration. Prior to that, I was a IRS agent / examiner for 7 years. I received several performance awards in recognition for my work both as an agent and appeals officer. Working in Appeals was personally gratifying to me because of the challenging nature of tax resolution.

When not working, I enjoy watching baseball, football and basketball, traveling, cycling, playing the piano, dining out and spending time with my family. I also do some volunteer work for my local community.

During my time in Appeals, I successfully resolved a wide range of tax disputes from both IRS exam and Collection. Many of the issues resolved were unusual or had little guidance. Some were common examination issues that could have been resolved had the taxpayer had representation to deal with the examiner.
